All changes and cancellations must be made in line with our terms and conditions, regardless of the weather forecast - please read these for information if you’re not sure. In the event of extreme weather where a weather warning is issued, we may have to postpone your booking to ensure your safety. If this happens, we’ll get in touch and do our best to reschedule your booking for a mutually convenient time. Please take this into consideration when making arrangements for travel or accommodation.

We work closely with Weathericks Holiday Cottages, so if you’d like to combine your visit to our hide with a short break on the edge of the Peak District, we highly recommend these cottages - they’re beautiful, luxurious and in a fabulous location with wildlife on the doorstep. For one-night options, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to make recommendations.

Most of the locations can be accessed with just a short walk leaving us with more time to make images. The terrain can be uneven so good walking boots are essential. The day will be taken at your pace, with plenty of opportunities to stop for rest and refreshments.

Non-photographic partners are welcome to join you on this workshop. The standard rental rate for two people will apply.

Apart from your camera and lens, a tripod is an essential piece if equipment. Other highly recommended but not essential items include, filters, spirit level and wired or wireless shutter release.
