An update on the activity at the buzzard hide

Autumn is slowly giving way to winter here in Derbyshire and as the livestock is being moved off the land at the farm, I've been regularly supplying food for the local family of buzzards.

My local butcher keeps back some bones and scraps of meat that form part of the food put down for the birds which is what features in the following images.

The image quality of my old trail camera is not great but shows the buzzard(s) feeding with some magpies almost daily. As with previous years, I stagger the food provision to avoid the birds becoming over-reliant on the handouts as a source of food.

The hide is now open for bookings through the winter. Select your date using the calendar to make a booking on the Buzzard Hide page.
