On the farm, I found a magpie that had either hit a window or succumbed to the cold. It made for some unusual bait for the buzzard, who seemed quite happy with it. The magpies on the other hand... not so much.
The snow has made worming impossible for the buzzards so the bait supplied at the hide is readily accepted. I switched the camera on at about 8:20am. As you can see from the video, it wasn't long before the buzzard dropped in. I'm typing this from the Jay hide watching the snow thaw before my eyes so unless more snow falls tonight, it looks like this weekend is the best opportunity for some snowy shots.
