Even this close to breeding, there is still some conflict when it comes to food.

As we move into Spring and the breeding season for most birds gets underway, you'd expect a certain level of co-operation between pairs. Whether the buzzards are indeed a pair or had just fallen out, I can't say but even at the end of March, there are still brief moments of conflict (and some great images to be had)!

The darker bird is usually first to appear on the scene and is, on the whole, the braver of the two, however, it always seems to give way to the slightly larger, paler buzzard - as seen in the video - being bullied off the food.

There is still time to book the hide for a session's photography - see the Buzzard hide page for details.
